What Is A LATS?
LATS is an acronym that stands for "Life, Amendment, Tweet, Statistic." Each LATS is dedicated to a victim of a mass shooting. It details and remembers their lives. Each LATS also includes the writer's opinion on the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. A tweet dedicated to the victim follows, and it ends with a statistic about mass shootings.
